Welcome to Dr. Sukel's virtual dental office at Midwest Integrative Dentistry, Ltd.  This web site was created to discuss holistic, biological and alternative approaches to dentistry.  Alternative dental care should be an adjunct to, not a substitute for, contemporary dental care.  The site discusses such controversial topics as mercury amalgam fillings, fluoride, base metals, and root canals from both the ADA’s view and our biologic view. Also presented for exploration and consideration are additional complimentary topics of homeopathy, nutrition, biological support, ozone and other current biological dental issues.

Our goal is to not put anything in your mouth that may have an adverse impact on your health.  Our philosophy is to help you keep your teeth in maximum health, comfort, function and looking great in a way that is appropriate for you.

We're here to not only offer you and your family the very latest in advanced dental care, but to do so in a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment.  We've tried hard to create something that may seem impossible - a very high tech office, that still feels like home.  We have the very most advanced dental technology available, and the ability to pick the precise technique indicated for your individual situation (whether it's the new one or the older one). 

So what does “holistic” mean?  Holistic is when you think or do something that will make you healthier! Whether you are thinking about or actually quitting smoking or eating organic food and exercising, you are holistic.  Our goal is to accept you where you are .... help you move to a higher level .... especially in the care of your mouth and the effect it has on the rest of you!

By taking this approach, I hope we can provide a web site and care for you that is both informative, educational and practical. We also have an interesting and extensive library. I hope this provides some perspective and insight regarding the philosophy of my practice.
