"You Put What In My Mouth"

This feature length documentary follows the lives of 4 people as they struggle to inform the federal government, public and dentists of the extremely large amounts of mercury vapor and mercury contaminated particulate matter generated during the making, placement, polishing and removal of mercury "amalgam" dental fillings.

Mercury Exposure

Mercury vapor is only one of 3 forms of mercury that can get into your body, if you have mercury fillings in your mouth, 80% to 100% of the mercury vapor inhaled is absorbed thru the lungs right away. With-in seconds it is in your blood stream to be oxidized and bound to various proteins and enzymes in all tissues to interfere with their intended functions.

You can increase the amount of mercury in your mouth by stimulating the fillings when chewing food or gum, drinking warm or hot fluids, brushing your teeth, etc. So, when drinking clean bottled water or eating organic food, it passes over a toxic waste dump! Hmmm?

When your fillings are removed, you are mostly exposed to 2 forms of mercury (vapor and particulate) and that is why it is most important to avoid, as much as possible, the acute exposure. It is best to be protected before, during and after the removal, especially if you have an adverse immune or neurological history. For this reason, I developed the very first protocols, still used today, for the safely removing mercury fillings.  This is why we now talk about being not only MERCURY-FREE
(do not place them anymore), but also being MERCURY-SAFE.

No mercury work should be done on women during pregnancy or while breast feeding, except in extreme emergencies and then with good protection, as a portion of that mercury will be passed to the baby. Even without the removal process, the baby is exposed in direct relation to the number and size of the fillings in the mouth as mentioned above.
